The "History of Fluxus" reading was very interesting, sadly I wish it could have perhaps have elaborated on some more examples of the different types of fluxus that the artists that they mentioned did. It would have been neat to read about the different types of artworks that these artists came up with. I was also amazed at for how long fluxus has actually been around, over about twenty years now.
However, from class, I remember that Nam June Paik was previously mentioned and that we got to see some of his works. As a fluxus artist you can clearly see why he is called that, by use of some of his pieces mixing media art with sculptural qualities. For example, his "The More the Better" piece; where he had over 1,003 televisions that are stacked together with a steel frame to create this giant sculpture that looks like a building. That particular one is my favorite.
Learning all this makes me wonder what types of various media can blend together to be successful and what ones don't work out that well.
